About Us
Hello, I’m Ellie Glover, a fully qualified osteopath now based in the heart of Llandovery, Carmarthenshire. I first qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 1986, beginning my career in South London before returning to my hometown to run two busy practices. After starting a family, I took a step back from osteopathy to work in education while supporting my children through school. During this time, I also completed a BA through the Open University in 2018, alongside roles in both the education and transport sectors.
In 2014, I was delighted to return to osteopathy, working with Long Eaton Osteopaths and the Church Street Practice. Those years away gave me valuable life experience, but it’s been a joy to reconnect with my patients and the hands-on care I’ve always loved. For me, the best part of osteopathy is meeting people – because every back, neck or joint problem comes with a story, and I see the person behind the pain.
Now living in beautiful Mid Wales, an area I’ve long dreamed of calling home, I’m proud to offer osteopathy in Llandovery and the wider Carmarthenshire area. My approach is gentle, thoughtful and tailored to the individual. I particularly enjoy helping people with long-standing or complex conditions.
I’m registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), and bring decades of experience to every appointment.
